Recommendations on OPAC Holds

• Patrons will be able to place holds on items in their home library's collection.

• Patrons will not be able to place holds outside of their home library's collection.

• The Save Record feature will be separated from the Request Item feature.

  • the Save Record feature will allow a patron to save a list of items to either print or send to their e-mail address; it will not have a request or hold option on the page

  • the Request feature will be renamed Hold or Local Hold

  • the pickup location drop-down menu will be available for all Holds placed, and will have an appropriate option for all libraries

  • Clear instructions for the patron will be posted on the WebOPAC
